FIELD DAYS
Photography experiences shaped by
light, place, and individual attention.
Rather than traditional workshops built around destinations alone, Field Days are immersive, one-day experiences centered on a focused topic, creative skill, or way of seeing.
Each session is designed to help you become a more thoughtful and intentional photographer—developing the habits, awareness, and practical skills that lead to stronger photographs wherever the landscape takes you
MORE THAN A LOCATION.
ONE IDEA. ONE DAY. DEEPER UNDERSTANDING.
01 / Focused Learning
Each Field Day explores one central theme in depth, allowing us to move beyond quick tips and spend meaningful time understanding and applying it in the field.
02 / Small Groups
With only six photographers in each session, there is room for individual guidance, conversation, experimentation, and thoughtful feedback.
03 / Lasting Support
The experience does not end when we leave the field. Each participant receives supporting materials and a private one-on-one virtual follow-up to help carry the lesson into their own work.

Approximately six hours of guided instruction
A small group of photographers
A focused creative theme or skill

LEARNING TO RECEIVE
THE MOMENT.
Good landscape photography begins before the camera is raised.
It begins with attention: noticing how light moves through a scene, recognizing relationships between elements, listening to your own curiosity, and understanding why something has asked you to stop.
During each Field Day, we will slow the process down. We will study the landscape, talk through creative decisions, build photographs deliberately, and explore how technical choices can support what you actually felt in the moment.
The goal is not to teach you how to recreate my photographs. It is to help you become more aware of how you create your own.
